OTHER INFORMATION:

Clothing and gear:

On the day of arrival and day of departure, depending on your final destination, it is clothing of your choice. For hunting purposes, we recommend camo or dark colours (please, no light colours).

Wear comfortable, well-worn boots. Don’t forget a hat and definitely bring sunblock. Bring casual wear for evenings around the fire. In wintertime, it can become quite chilly in the evenings and early mornings. It is essential to bring a jacket. The difference between minimum and maximum temperatures is quite high. The mornings can kick off with minimums of about 32°F-38°F (0-10°C), increasing to77°F-90°F (25-32°C) and dropping down quickly at sunset. A good idea is to wear layers in combination with a thick jacket. Do not forget your gloves.

Gators are very comfortable against the sticky grass.

Do not forget battery chargers for your cell phone, cameras, etc.

Other things to bring:

Binoculars; shooting sticks if you want to use your own. We do have shooting sticks available. And if you are not using your cell phone camera, bring your camera.

Wi-Fi is available (and included) at the lodge, for communication with loved ones back at home.

MEDICAL and Travel Insurance:

Please make sure you have adequate self-medication and all the necessary travel insurance including medical insurance – we are 150 km (93,2 miles) away from the nearest big town, with roads that are not in a good condition.

Remember your own medication.
